Stride Capital LLC dba Clatus App
Effective date: May 28, 2026
Clatus is a cloud-based claims management platform operated by Stride Capital LLC dba Clatus App ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from users of Clatus, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have over your data. By using Clatus, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
If you have questions, contact us at info@clatusapp.com.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the platform, and information from third-party integrations you choose to connect.
Account and Profile Information
- Name, email address, and password (hashed)
- Organization name and team member details
- Profile settings and preferences
Claims Data
- Policyholder name, phone number, and property address
- Insurance policy numbers, carrier information, and claim numbers
- Claim notes, status history, and pipeline stage information
- Damage descriptions and inspection records
Documents and Photos
- Uploaded claim documents, estimates, and reports
- Photos synced from CompanyCam (when you connect your CompanyCam account)
Email and Calendar Data (via Google)
Clatus offers optional Google integrations. When you authorize them, we access the following Google user data through the corresponding OAuth scopes, solely to provide the user-facing features described below:
- Send claim emails (
gmail.send): Adjusters send claim-related emails — status updates, document requests, and settlement letters — directly to policyholders, carriers, and contractors from inside a claim record. The email is sent from your own Gmail address so replies route back to your inbox. This scope does not read, label, or modify your mail. - Index claim-related email (
gmail.readonly): We retrieve emails matching active claim numbers, policy numbers, or policyholder email addresses and display the full communication history on the corresponding claim record, so you don't have to switch between Gmail and Clatus. Only emails matching a claim filter are surfaced; broader inbox content is not displayed. Email metadata and bodies are cached for up to 90 days for performance, then re-fetched on demand. - Show busy times to avoid double-booking (
calendar.readonly): When you schedule a property inspection, we read your existing Google Calendar free/busy times so you don't double-book. This data is read on demand, used purely to render scheduling conflicts, and is not persisted server-side. - Create and manage inspection events (
calendar.events): After you pick a time, Clatus creates the inspection event on your primary Google Calendar, attaches the policyholder as an invitee, and sets the location to the property address from the claim. You can reschedule or cancel the event from inside the claim. We only write to events Clatus created; we never modify pre-existing events.
Usage and Technical Data
- Browser type, IP address, and device information
- Pages visited, features used, and session timestamps
- Error logs and performance diagnostics
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Clatus platform
- Display claims data and communication history within your account
- Enable AI-assisted analysis of claims using Anthropic's Claude (your data is processed as context for AI responses and is not used to train AI models)
- Sync and display emails and calendar events linked to your claims
- Send transactional notifications (e.g., claim status updates, team activity)
- Authenticate users and enforce organization-level data isolation

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising purposes.
3. Google API Limited Use Disclosure
Clatus's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
See the Google API Services User Data Policy here.
- No third-party sharing: We do not share, sell, or transfer your Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the Clatus interface, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
- No advertising: We do not use your Google user data for advertising or to build advertising profiles.
- No model training: We do not use your Google user data to train, develop, or improve generalized machine-learning or AI models.
- No human access: We do not allow humans to read your Google data unless you explicitly grant us access for support, we have your consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.
Data Retention for Google Data
- Gmail metadata and message bodies are cached for up to 90 days for performance, then re-fetched on demand.
- Cached Gmail data is purged within 30 days of disconnecting the integration.
- Google Calendar data is read on demand and is not persisted server-side.
Revoking Access
You can disconnect Gmail or Google Calendar from Clatus at any time:
- Inside Clatus: Settings → Integrations → Disconnect
- Directly in your Google Account: myaccount.google.com/permissions
When you disconnect, Clatus immediately stops accessing your Google data and deletes any cached email content within 30 days.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with the following third-party services to deliver Clatus. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
- Supabase — Database hosting, authentication, and file storage. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security enforced at the database level.
- Anthropic (Claude) — Powers the AI assistant within Clatus. Claim context is sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models under standard API usage terms.
- Google (Gmail and Google Calendar) — Optional integrations that sync email and calendar data into Clatus when you authorize them through Google OAuth.
- CompanyCam — Optional photo management integration. Photos are pulled from your CompanyCam account and displayed within the claim record when you connect your account.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
- With the third-party service providers listed above, strictly to provide the platform
- With other members of your organization within Clatus (as intended)
- When required by law, court order, or valid government request
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Clatus, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — you will be notified if ownership changes and your data is transferred
6. Data Security
- All data is encrypted in transit using TLS
- Data at rest is encrypted by Supabase's storage infrastructure
- Row-level security (RLS) ensures users can only access data belonging to their organization
- Authentication is handled through Supabase Auth with hashed password storage
- Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and never exposed to other users
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at info@clatusapp.com.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.
After account deletion, we may retain aggregate, anonymized usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct — update inaccurate or incomplete information through your account settings
- Delete — request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Revoke integrations — disconnect Google or CompanyCam at any time through your account settings; we will stop accessing that data immediately
- Data portability — request an export of your claims data in a standard format
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@clatusapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
Clatus is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you via email at least 30 days before major changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
